Weekly Newsletter Raven for Halloween NOct24

I am still waiting on the video of my son’s front yard. Our family has always been like Adam’s family. We love Halloween.  Unfortunately, we have a grandson who does not like Halloween. Then Grandma added to the Halloween Decorations with a Raven that says “The end is near.”  So today I bring you the Raven.

Stamp:

  • Potions and Spells Bundle

Ink:

  • Memento Black

Blends:

  • Black
  • Granny Apple Green
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Mango Melody (optional for the beak and feet)

Paper:

  • Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″,  5 1/4″ x 4″,  1″ x 1″,  1″ x 1″,  1/2″ x 1 1/2″
  • Black 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″

Tools:

  • Potions And Spells dies
  • Spotted Circle Embossing Folder
  • Cut and Emboss Machine – 149653

Basic Tools:

  • Trimmer -152392
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue – 110755

Instructions:

  1. Fold Basic White CS at 4 1/4″.
  2. Adhere the Basic Black CS to the front of the card.
  3. Run the second Basic White CS through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Spotted Circle Dies.
  4. Adhere to the card.
  5. Stamp the Bird in Memento Black.
  6. Run the bird through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Potions And Spells Bundle. (set aside)
  7. Stamp the books in Memento Black on Basic White CS.
  8. Run the books through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Potions And Spells Dies.
  9. Color the top book in Granny Apple Green.
  10. Color the bottom book in Pumpkin Pie.
  11. Adhere to the center of the card.
  12. Color the beak and the feet in Pumpkin Pie (I colored it in Mango Melody.
  13. Color the crow (Raven) in Black.
  14. Adhere to the center of the card.
  15. Stamp the words “Happy Halloween” in Memento Black.
  16. Fussy cut a square out.
  17. Adhere to the bottom of the card

CS = Card Stock

DSP = Designer Series Paper
