Some of you are skipping Halloween and getting your Christmas projects done. Or maybe you are already done with Halloween. If that is the case good for you. So here is a Christmas project for you.
Festive Christmas Trees Step Up
If you’ve ever wanted lots of Christmas tree options for your seasonal card-making, the Decorative Trees Bundle is a must-have this year! With dies featuring snowflakes, holly, plaid textures, and more—plus a tree stamp image with all the trimmings–you’ll have endless variations for your Christmas cards and tags!
You could start by creating a stack of simple cards using a Basic White Cardstock card base and a Basic White Cardstock tree die cut. We added a tree-top star stamped with Pecan Pie ink and some Earth Tones Shimmer Gems “ornaments.” So simple, so perfect! (Tip: Adhesive Sheets work well with the detailed snowflake tree die pictured here.)
Next up: we put together some splendid gift packaging using the Book Treat Boxes (so cool!). Simply add Crumb Cake ink stars, a Christmas tree die cut, a banner (using Real Red Stampin’ Blends to draw vertical lines), and a tag made from Old Olive ink stamped on Old Olive Cardstock. (Tone-on-tone is always great!)
To make our most stepped-up project, we again used the Book Treat Box, but this time we stamped both star images on the box in Crumb Cake ink. We then cut a window in the box using the open tree die and backed the opening with a Window Sheet. To refine it a bit more, we adhered to the Crumb Cake Cardstock detailed snowflake tree die cut to the Window Sheet using Adhesive Sheets. To finish, we simply cut the tabs off the box and closed it using Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/4″ (6.4 mm) Satin Ribbon.
Now what do you think you can do with the bundle? Have fun!
There is no exciting news other than the fact that the Holiday Catalog is available. I do want to call attention to the fabulous Decorative Trees because when you cut each tree out, the image will be on that tree. Just think of the possibilities!
