Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created “Birthday Bonanza” projects to inspire you to make for all of your family and friends. We hope you enjoy and are inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments because we all love hearing from you! At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Hey, it is chick Day here. Those crazy chicks are here. Oh, in case you are wondering I am referring to the new Hey Chick stamp set. It has these adorable, but crazy chickens. I absolutely love the chicks with their crazy hair. For those that have bad hair days, we can relate.
Let me share how this card got started. I was using the Best Year stamp set on some desperately needed birthday cards. So it was sitting on my table along with my recent order the Hey Chick stamp set. I discovered the perfect words “hip hip hooray” would be great for a background stamp as I needed a birthday card for this month’s Blog Hop. Now comes the color. I wanted something bright but would allow the words to show up. Bermuda Bay is perfect for that. I don’t know about you, but certain colors are just perfect together. Calypso Coral is one of those colors that I love with Bermuda Bay. I needed one other color. Daffodil Delight works with Calypso Coral. Now you have your color palette.
So now let us meet those chicks.
This is a Clean and Simple card. The Chicks need to be stamped within 1/2″ of each one. Once stamped and strips glued on, I trimmed the sides off. I know you want more details on this card.
