I don’t know about you, but I am more than ready to set sail to some quiet island. If only I could take my Stampin’ Up! and hide out for a month, I might it get to all my new Stampin’ Up! products. As Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, we can order anything out of the new Holiday catalog, I have looked and started a list. However, I am not ready to order. I earned quite a few Bonus Coupons and I will get to them. Remember these coupons must be used in August.
This is a month of scheduled appointments and activities. Our Friendship Force is hosting a group from Knoxville, Tennessee. So activities and dinners are planned. Because of an appointment made a year ago (which I forgot about about) there will be no Facebook Live Thursday. Sorry about that.
Today’s card plus the one in the newsletter, is all about the Designer Series Paper. Stampin’ Up! has such beautiful paper. I think our projects deserve a focus on them. So Come Sail Away has this newspaper print that has sailing in the print. Therefore, I chose it as the backdrop for this card. You will find another beautiful Designer Series Paper in today’s newsletter.

I love the simplicity of this card. Ocean is done very well. Thanks for sharing.
Really like this card – would love to know how you created the water. Most realistic I’ve seen
You’re so talented. Thank you so much for this idea. I made it easier for me by using the sail boat from the Memories and More card pack. I added some color with a little sponging to give a sunset affect, and used a squirly frame from the pack around it. The anchor and words (Happy Day) were stickers from the same set. A little wink of stella added some sparkle to the water and the sails. It made a beautiful birthday card for my pastor.
