Favorite Season Means Something

Do you have a favorite season?  I think our choice of favorite seasons influences our choices of stamp sets.  For me I love the birds which means I love spring. So when we have bird stamps I gravitate to them.  One that I absolutely love is the Petal Palette which will be retiring.

I think I love the spring is because after a long winter in Iowa spring means a rebirth and everything turns green and animals come out of hiding. The geese return and goslings appear on the banks of the creek.   If you take the time there is so much to observe.

Absolutely beautiful, esp w/that copper tree!

  2. That card is so beautiful. I made it using a Garden Green card stock, layered it with Soft Sea Foam, and a Whisper White stitched oval stamped with Garden Green leaves. I used the new Rose Gold foil, added a couple rhinestones on the right, and used Birthday Greetings from the Wetlands set. I stamped the greeting in Soft Suede on Whisper White and cut it out with one of the stitched dies. Then I trimmed off the stitching and mounted it on Garden Green so I had a green border around the greeting. (also cut from a stitched die.) I used dimensionals on the oval, the bird, and the greeting. I’m very pleased with the results. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
