How many of you have scraps of the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper?  I am hearing a lot of yes.   Don’t you hate to throw them out even when they are so small?  Even the 1  3/4″ squares are perfect for this project.

Today’s Paper Player’s Challenge was a sentiment in the middle.  So I was able to partner it with those scraps which turned this card into a beautiful birthday card.  Now, are you going to look at those small scraps the same way?

Tips and Tricks

Colors:  I chose Tangerine Tango because it works with the print in my Designer Series Paper.  All pattern and work out from there. you need to do is pick one

Stamp Set: I needed just the right words for a birthday card and I found Suite Sayings had it.  This stamp set has so many great words and phrases. You will find it useful for many different occasions. Sadly, it is retiring. So you need to take a second look and order it today. Ink:  Because I used a retired Navy Blue ribbon, I decide to use the lease used color and continue it with the Navy Blue color.

Paper:  Remember your Designer Series Paper color and to tie it with it.

  • Tangerine Tango
  • Whisper White

Designer Series Paper:  Whatever scraps you have.

Accessories: Give that plain orange some textured. The one I chose will be retiring.
