I am still working with Dragonfly Dreams. However, this will be the last one of Dragonfly Dreams this week. This stamp set you can get so much mileage of this set you have bundle. In the newsletter, I used the bee for your PDF. The newsletter which is going out on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. The last two days I had computer problems. So the Technique video will go out Thursday.
This card is a birthday card and uses Dragonfly Dreams and Avant Garden which is part of the Sale-a-Bration which you get FREE with a $50 order. The main color is Rich Razzleberry. Speaking of FREE Items. Finally, my Stampin’ Up! order arrived late last night. Can you believe UPS lost the order because someone forget to put the tracking number in Colorado? It was moving through the system. I don’t know how or whether it was a computer entry problem. The delivery was suppose to be Monday. Anyway it is here and I am eager to start on the new Free items plus a couple of new (new to me) stamps.
Stamp Set: Dragonfly Dreams and the Dragon Thinlits which has the ability to make a wide variety of cards and other projects. The words on this stamp set give a variety of thoughts such a friendship, thanks, and a birthday. The new Avant Garden is a great flower to use whether on its own or with another stamp set.
Paper: The card stock I chose was Rich Razzleberry and tied it to the dragonfly and the flowers. You always need to tie your ink to the base even if it is just a small amount of color used in the card.
Colors: Rich Razzleberry is your main color. I used just a little Old Olive for the leaves. The Tempting Turquiose was an accent color which added a little brightness to the color. Notice I used only a small amount of this color. You don’t want to distract fom your main focal point.
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise
Bundle: Dragonfly Thinlits Die (Remember you save 10% when you bundle with the stamp set)
Embellishment: Dimensionals
Accessories: Dragonfly Thinlit Dies, Big Shot, Trimmer
