I am working ahead on Mother’s Day cards because I have a Craft Show in a couple of weeks. Originally I was not going to show this card because I used retired Speciality Paper. However, I checked the Clearance rack and this paper was it. It is called Hydragenea Mercury Glass. You can use the Purple Shimmer paper in the Mini Catalog. This is one of the Speciality Papers I have not ordered.
This is a fairly simple card because I cut out the flowers from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. I know you are wondering about the background lattice. It is a Spilt Texture Card Die. So you will cut this out with the Cut and Emboss Machine. Then you will need to cut it down smaller to fit on your card. Mine is 5 1/4″ in length. Adjust the Speciality Paper to fit under the lattice paper. Remember the lattice needs to be cut down at an angle. The flowers hide any unevenness.
If you want to add some more sparkle, you could add rhinestones in the middle of the flowers. This card would work for a variety of occasions beyond Mother’s Day. I used the Celebrate You stamp set. This is a must in your stamp sets because of the variety of words and fonts.
