This is a new stamp set for me in the Annual Catalog. It is called Round We Go. I think it is going to be fun to play with. You can make it a raised image or flat. I did the latter and think it came out cute. The background came from the Shades and Hues.

Sorry, I had no time yesterday to get this posted. I had so many errands I wanted to finish before the Artic Blast came in. We are bitterly cold here in Iowa. It has been a 50-degree temperature change since Friday. This will last until Wednesday when we get back in the twenties.

This stamp set from the last Mini-Catalog. I reminded you in December to order it. I feel it reminds me of Spring.

Stamp:

Artful Amaryllis Bundle – 164082 (retired)

Ink:

Garden Green
Memento Black

Paper:

Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
Petal Pink 2″ x 2″ 4″ x 5 1/4″
Crushed Curry 1/2″ x 2″

Embellishments:

Petal Pink Twine

Tools:

Artful Amaryllis Bundle
Cut and Emboss Machine – 149653

Basic Tools:

Trimmer -152392
Multipurpose Liquid Glue – 110755

Instructions:

Fold Basic White CS at 4 1/4″.
Adhere Petal Pink to the center of the card.
Stamp the words “You made my day” in memento Black ink.
Stamp the stem and the leaves in Garden Green. (x2, see photo)
Adhere to the center of the card.
Run Petal Pink CS through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Bundle dies. (x4, Set aside)
Run Crushed Curry through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Bundle dies. (x2, see photo)
Adhere to the Crushed Curry you just stamped out to the center of 2 of the petals.
Adhere the petals you placed the curry on to the other 2 petals. (see photo)
Adhere to the two flowers one on each stem, (see photo)
Tie the twine into a bow and adhere to the top right corner of the card. (see photo)

In Monday’s post, I mentioned that one of my favorite new stamp sets was a sale-a-bration product. It is the Heart Shaped Bundle. It is so nice to have dies with this set. When creating a heart card it is usually a Congratulations card and not a Valentine card as I don’t have a need for it. In the case of this card, you can make it what you want. I have had lots of need for Thank You cards. However, I did make a few Happy Anniversary cards with this design. Notice that I dug out my mini-heart punch for the Anniversary card and used the flowers for the Thank You card.
