Stampin’ Up! Convention Part 1

Off to convention!!! Ye! Ye!  I was looking forward to this.  I was not disappointed.  I took 100 cards to swap.  Hence, this is why I have been so busy.  However, you will benefit with all the great ideas plus the free stamps that I received. Before the convention I joined Lisa Presto presentation about Stampin' Up!  This was followed with Stampin' Pretty swap with Stampin' Pretty Pals.  You see I am part of Mary Fish's Stampin Pretty Pals.  She is one of the top producers for Stampin' Up and personally benefit from her expertises. I received lots of great cards to share with you.  This is a picture of Lisa and Mary.

Convention started the next day and it was electric.  I felt like deer in headlights.  You walk into the Salt Lake Convention Center and people were trading cards right and left.  In another hall, tons of cards were on display and we could take pictures.  Boy did I !  The day always started with presentation with lots of information on what is going on at Stampin' Up! This was followed by classes were could learn and make it. Again great information.  There is another area where there is the "Make and Take".  I made a box with the new Gift Box Punch Board and worked with the new  Blendabilities

Thursday night was a special night so I do that one in Part 2.  I will skip to Friday night which was Award Night.  This is where the top producers are recognized by Shelli Gardner (President) and Stampin' Up!. I took notice of these people so I could check out their blogs.  Thinking  I would get ideas to help you be successful in your Stampin' Up! endeavors. Here is a picture of me with Shelli Gardner. This was taken at the After Party.

We still had one more day of convention.  I hated to see it end.  I forgot to mention that they do Prize Patrol which gives away stamps.  I didn't win, but got free paper. It was a fun time!

Here is another picture.  See Part 2 for the Thursday night.  July 2014 263

The above picture is the card swap Wednesday night.  Remember you could be here if you join me as a Demonstrator.

I am Pamela Sadler and  live in Des Moines, Iowa where outside activities are plentiful and opportunities a bound for crafters and artist to show their work.  I am single, but have a wonderful son and daughter-in-law who have blessed me with a grandson. He is 19 months old and a charmer. Being single has given me the opportunity to immerse in my passion making cards with an occasion memory keeper book. However, I do have outside interest such as golf, spending time with friends, traveling, and taking long walks on our wonderful trails.  Nature is a great way to inspire a person.

I have been designing greeting cards for about five years. This site is where you will learn how to make greeting cards and see new designs.   My other website: Cards Truly from the Heart  (http://cardstrulyfromtheheart.com/") is where I sell my cards.   Cards Truly from the Heart shows cards that I have created and made over the years.  Around the Des Moines area I am known as the Queen of Cards.  I love using  Stampin' Up! products and that is why I am a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  I am growing my Stampin' Up business by hosting workshops, classes, and participating in craft shows.  At craft shows I demonstrate the art of card making and give people a chance to make a card.  I believe it is so much fun to send out a beautiful hand crafted greeting card.
