I don’t know about you, but one of my happiest places is my studio where all my Stampin’ Up! supplies are. So today we are going in make a Gatefold Card. It is one that folds the same on both sides and meets in the middle. You will want some way to keep it closed. I used heart on one and a square on another card. You could use a belly band, a clip, or a ribbon to help it stay closed. As part of Card Fold Friday we need these variety of cards to spice up our designs. Measurements: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ base

score at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″ then fold

Last night on the trail there was a bike club and there were a lot of them. Boy do they have it down as they were whizzing by me. So I thought about a bike card. So here is to the ones getting fit and healthy with the faithful bike. I know that surely you know a biker out there having a birthday, this card is for them.

Base: The card starts simply with Crushed Curry cardstock and Whisper White on top.

Focus: The eye will catch the colorful bikes done in yellow, blue, red, and beige. Then give one bike your total attention in one of the colors. I choose to use blue. The white strip is 2″ x 5 1/4″ and the blue is 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″.

Tips

Stamp Set: Sheltering Tree, Balloon Celebration

Color Combination: Pacific Blue, Tip Top Taupe, Crushed Curry, Real Red

Ink: Tip Top Taupe, Wild Wasabi

Paper: Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Pacific Point

Embellishment: Candy Dots (Regals)
