Let Us Hop Back Into

I hope you have not forgotten about me.  I am all rested and ready to hop back into sharing ideas.  All this hopping will give you an idea of this card’s subject.  It is all about the Easter Bunny stamp set,  Even though did not use the bundle, order it. You will find you will use the bunny punch.

I thought I would return with some Easter cards as it is just around the corner.  Wait until hear what I did to the bunny’s tail.  First, this card is fussy cutting.  I know you are wondering about the Designer Series Paper.  I went back into my sash and found I had a lot of Ring of Love Designer Series Paper.  However, this card would be cute with Gingham or the In Color.

Okay now about the bunny’s tail.  I didn’t have any pompoms, but I had a whole box of Q-tip Squabs.  So I just clipped off the tip of the squab and glued it on. How simple is that?

Weekly Newsletter Mar. 26th Are You Ready for Fun?

Before we start the fun,  I have some announcements for you.  As many of you know the retirement list is out. While you are ordering you should consider ordering the Basic stock like cardstock, Glue, and other Basic supplies. These supplies will be going up in price.  For example, cardstock is going up a $1.50 a package.  Blends are going up too. So if you want to add to your craft supplies now would be a good time to order. I would appreciate choosing me as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator if you don’t have one.  To order click here

Today’s Project

Today we will play with some dies.  This is coming for Hooray for Surprises Dies. Zip strips and peek-through cards have the spotlight for this week’s technique focus article—thanks to our fabulous Hooray for Surprises Dies!

To make this “zippy” card, simply stamp the cake image in Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Mossy Meadow, and Petal Pink ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, then cut the zip strip using the Hooray for Surprises pull tab die. Stamp “Pull” on the tab in Mossy Meadow ink, then layer the stamped and die-cut cardstock over Petal Pink Cardstock. Cut a circle from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock using the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhere the circle over the zip strip. Finish this thoughtful, clever card with a Linen Thread bow. The recipient will be delighted to tear open the zip strip to find a fun surprise hidden inside!
