Everyday we create memories with family and friends. Now is the time to preserve those memories.
Today, we have some scrapbooking inspiration using the January Online Exclusives—four artists created four unique projects. You’ll love their tips and tricks!
For the Love This Life scrapbook page, our first artist created her own “Designer Series Paper” by stamping flowers and leaves all over Pool Party Two-Tone Cardstock from the Meant to Bee pack. Then she die cut some flowers with the Meant to Bee Dies and adhered them over some of the stamped flowers to add visual dimension. She also die cut some smaller flowers and a heart and added glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen to create her own enamel embellishments.
Our second artist created the Celebrate frame as décor for a birthday party. She die cut some banners using the Birthday Celebration dies and used them alongside the die-cut banners and other elements from the Wildflower Birthday 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper. Instead of using the gold banner as is, she turned it over and colored it using the Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends, so it coordinated better with her project.
The Hello Spring scrapbook page is a great example of mixing different patterns. Our third artist used two patterns from the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper for her page background and a few other elements from the paper and sticker sheet for her focal point. She also used the Storybook Friends Dies to die cut some frames for her page. She used the negative of the arched frame as a template to cut out her photo. For the page title, she used the Storybook Life Stamp Set.
For the Better Together scrapbook page, our fourth artist used the Everyday You & Me Suite. She stamped the page title and fussy cut it to look like a sticker. She used the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper to create the background and some other elements for her page. She tore the bottom left corner of the large piece of Designer Series Paper so the smaller Designer Series Paper pieces and stamped imagery could peek out.
We hope these projects have sparked some ideas for using the January Online Exclusives. If you haven’t already, check them out in the online store today!
