I hope you like a love story because that is what First Sight stamp set is.  The title was so fitting and I had to design a Happy Anniversary card.  This card is being sent to my son and my wonderful daughter-in-law.  Their anniversary is coming up in a few days.  You see they met when they were fifteen and each knew instantly that this was the special match everyone is looking for.  No, they didn’t marry right away. They waited till they had the job and house for marriage.  Today they are happily married with a darling boy who grandma thinks is the most perfect grandson.

Base:  Basic Grey cardstock

Focus:  Hearts  with a basic gray swirl

A New Beginning

Summer is a time for Weddings which I think of as a new beginning.  So thought it was time to put Stampin’ Up! First Sight Stamp Set to use.  Now I chose to use the  retired color Lost Lagoon, but you could easily substitute Marina Mist or Mint Macaron in for the color.  Your other option would be to choose the couple’s wedding colors. I added the Very Vanilla Lace Trim which adds a delicate look.  So so perfect for a wedding card.

Base: Lost Lagoon with Very Vanilla cardstock

Focus: The delicate swirls in Lost Lagoon
