Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for August 2016.  We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are featuring projects using our favorite Stampin’ Up! cutting tools. There are so many wonderful punches, framelits and edgelits available that help make paper crafting more detailed and fun! We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

I am in love with the Jar of Love and the Everyday Jars Framelit.  Stampin’ Up! is bringing out so many ways to use it. The Holiday catalog has Halloween and Christmas.  They are adorable!  Stop and think right now all the occasions you can use the jar for. Here is a birthday card for that special person.  I added some flowers to go in the jar.

Adding Versatility with One Stamp

Stampin’ Up! CAS birthday card made withThoughtful Branches stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinpinkrose

I know I said one stamp, but actually this card uses two stamps.  Both of these stamps can add versatility to your cards.  The main stamp is Thoughtful Branches which is now available to order for the month of August.  It can be bundled with the framelit which you don’t want to miss.  The other stamp is called Watercolor Wash and makes a great background stamp.

Here are two cards from the same stamp set, but one is a tree and the other a flower. I don’t know about you, but I love  getting more bang for my money.  Now think of the occasions you will be able use these cards for… birthday, thinking of you, get well or change the color for a sympathy card.  Then if you still want more ideas, go to my Facebook https://www.facebook.com/stampinpinkrose/  and find another Thoughtful Branches card.
