With Febauary Valentine’s Month and it is drawing close, I thought we would focus on Valeninte cards.  Yesterday I finally got out your Technique Cards which normally go with the Tuesday Newsletter.  Today I have a technique with masking, but the focus is still on creating depth. So instead of balloons I am using hearts. This will give you some extra Valentine card’s ideas. This is part of the Paper Players’s Challenge which you click on this link to see more. https://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/

Birthday Treats on the Move

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for February 2017. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our 2017 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are CASE’ing a project shown in a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. After all, with the Annual, Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs available right now, there is much inspiration from which to choose. We hope you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

The pictures below are from Stampin’ Up!

Here is a birthday treat with the Tasty Trucks Stamp which you will find in the Sale-a-Bration Brochure. I used some virbrant colors to celebrate the day.   I love Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo together with a touch of pink.  I took a little from each picture and this is what I came up with for this Blog Hop.

Who Screams for Ice Cream?

Stampin’ Up! Birthday card made with Cool Treats stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

Okay, it is not a ice cream cone, but it still looks delicious.  I think the wink of Stella Clear helps to bring this treat alive. I used Cool Treats stamp set and Peekaboo Peach ink. Then added the Watermelon Wonder ink.  That color is lucious!  I have several Cool Treats that I did with the Peekaboo Peach.  What is your favorite color?  Have you tried it with the new Cool Treat?  The Stampin’ Up! Cool Treat has so many different stamps that you can go so many different directions. Don’t forget to use the Cool Treat Designer Series paper and remember it is two sided.  So one side is the luscious treats and the other side some great patterned paper.

Base: Peekaboo Peach
