I learned a lot of great ideas I will sharing over the next few weeks. Also, I met a lot of great Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators and swap cards with them.  I will be showing these periodically on my blog.  However, the most exciting thing was getting the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  I want you think about joining Stampin’ Up! as a Demonstrator so you can join me in November. It will be sooner than we think.

Tips and Tricks

Color:  I used gray and brown with just a touch of color in Flirty Flamingo. So this card will be perfect whether it is a boy or girl.

Stamp Set: Little Cutties as so many cute little friends for different occasions. If you have an animal lover, you don’t want to miss this retiring stamp set.

  • Little Cuties

Ink:  What color do you think of for a horse? Brown, black, gray.  I chose gray because I wanted to keep it light.

  • Smoky Slate
  • Early Espresso
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Tempting Turquiose

Paper:  Tie your card together with your colors.

  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Whisper White

Designer Series Paper:   Find a color in your pattern Designer Paper and tie together. With the browns it is fairly easy. The dotted is from the Neutrals, but the pattern behind is a retired piece that I liked the looks of with the horse.

  • Neutral Designer Series Paper

Accessories: Blender Pens, Trimmer

Stampin’ Up! Birthday card made with Up Me Up stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

Tips and Tricks

Stamp Set: Stampin’ Up! is offering so many great balloons to choose from.  I think the cutting out with the framelits or thinlits adds so much to the cards ocan make your projects.

  • Let Me Up

Lift Me Up Wood-Mount Bundle

Color:  Let Me Up is no exception because with the thinlit die you can make your balloons different colors within the balloon. You can keep it in the same color family like I did or make it more like a rainbow. I used three different blues. Then just a touch of silver for some sparkle to the clouds.

  • Night of Navy
  • Pacific Point
  • Soft Sky

Ink: I want to keep it with the same color family… so I used Night of Navy.

  • Night of Navy

Paper:  With the exception of the Whisper White, it was just matter of  using the same colors as the balloon.  The darker color (Night of Navy) for the balloon base.  I chose to let the lightest color show the most which was Soft Sky.

  • Night of Navy
  • Soft Sky
  • Pacific Point

Designer Series:  I card needed a little dazzle and the perfect place for the dazzle was the clouds.

  • Glimmer Paper – Silver

Bundle:  With the Occasions Catalog, now is the perfect time to get the Lift Me Up as a bundle because you save 10%.  Think all the diffrerent birthday, thinking of you, and get well cards you can make with this set because this not just a birthday stamp set. There are sentiments on this stamp set that will work for different occasions. In fact, use this design and change the greeting.

  • Up and Away Thinlits Dies

Accessories:  Up and Away Thinlits Dies, Big Shot, Trimmer
