Is Simple Better In Cardmaking?

Stampin’ Up! CAS Christmas card with Peace This Christmas stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. Gently falling snowflakes bring wishes your way. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

I am asking you a question.  Is simple better in cardmaking or does it depend on the occasion or receiver?  So today’s card is a very simple card and quick to make.  However, before we get started,  I wanted to make a couple of comments about this card.   I want you to wander through Designer Series paper in the Annual and Holiday catalog.  Stampin’ Up! is offering such an array of different paper.  Take a close look on both sides. One package has a beautiful plaid paper that is perfect for the holidays.  Then take a close look at the stamp sets particularly the ones that have so many pieces. So often we focus on the larger pieces.

Okay, I know you are wondering where this is leading.  I think the card says it all.   By the way, I am not trying to rush the season.  The snow will eventually come, but right now I am trying to enjoy the warmer temperatures.  We are doing pendulum swings in our temperatures here in Iowa.  One day we are cold and then the warm-up starts all over again.  We have storms in our forecast and seventy on the horizon.

As many of you are wandering through the pumpkin patch and looking for that perfect pumpkin,  watch and see if anyone else is in the patch.  I found someone else sitting in the pumpkin patch.  Do you think he found his perfect pumpkin?

This is our monthly blog hop. For October the requirement was a different fold. So I created a Double Z fold card and used the Lots of Labels Framelits to give the card a different style. If you are not sure how to make a Double Z with the Lots of Labels Framelits, here is my video from October 7th
