My question today is “who likes a simple card?”  Sometimes we need a simple card and having a versatile card is even better.  That is the case for today’s card.  I created it as a birthday card, but all you need to do is change the greeting.  May I suggestion make the card and punch out the label, but leave it blank.  Now when you need a card pull it out of your card stash and add the greeting. What could be simpler!

The paper I chose was the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper.  However, you could use whatever you need whether you want a male or female card.  In fact, Stampin’ Up! came out with some beautiful masculine Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Catalog 2018. Just remember with Stampin’ Up! makes it simple because of the color list on the package.

This card is a beautiful, but a simple card to make.  The stamp set that I am using is Lots of Lavender from the Sale-a-bration Brochure.  Did you know you can get it free with $50 purchase from the Occasions Catalog or Annual Catalog?  It is just a matter of stamping the image and then restamping with a color of your choice. I chose Berry Burst with the Color Theory paper.  There is no matching because of Color Theory Designer Paper ties with the current colors.  So pick your favorite color. Once your color is stamped just color the stem and bow. Then you are done coloring and can assemble your card.  Use this for any occasion you need.  It is a great card to have on hand because your inside will determine the theme (birthday, get well, etc.).
