I have to say Open House was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.  It is always great to see old friends and meet new ones.  The card I am showing is one from one of my stations.  It was very popular.   So this stamp set has become one of my favorite stamp sets out of the Occasions Catalog. It is called Beautiful Day.  You can choose the butterfly like I did last week or my favorite the flower.

This card is so easy to adjust your colors.  I chose Rich Razzleberry which ties with Painted with Love Speciality paper. With this paper, you could use Melon Mambo or Powdered Pink to color your flower.  Of course, you can always change the Designer Series paper which would open the possibilities of any color.  Just remember the best part of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is each package list your colors, so you are not guessing the colors to use.

Barn Door Is the Rage

I have been putting the final touches on my Open House.  This big event is January 20th at my home.  You can pop in if you are in the neighborhood.  The address is 10677 Elmcrest Dr. Clive Iowa.  You will find 2 heart balloons tied to the porch.  So come if you can because it will be a lot of fun and you will leave with lots of ideas plus your projects.  Best of all FREE!

I have another card I wanted to post but, this stamp and framelit have been so popular.  So I thought UI need you to see it.  If you watch the DY networks you will barn doors are all the rage.  So Stampin’ Up! has given us the Barn Door and actually slides. Hint: very small. You will need to make a trip to your favorite hardware store for a #6 that is 3/8 washer.  Hint: very small.

I will probably redo this card because I should have embossed it.  When I get the new one I will post it, but Brandi from Stampin’ Up! has a great video.
