Weekly Newsletter May 14th

I have some exciting news my order will be in by the end of the week.  I am looking forward to new products to work on.  I know you will enjoy seeing new ideas.  I will have a project for Friday, but there will be no new projects on May 24th.  This is Memorial weekend and I am taking some time off. You will have a project on  May 31st.

Remember to check my post for Monday.  I am still struggling with Thursday’s post.  So keep checking in.

It is Time to get creative.

To make the Tu grandis si vite card, we stamped the outline image of the dolphin, then we stamped the shading image in Gray Granite ink. We didn’t want the shading image to be too strong, so we stamped off first. We die-cut the dolphin, then finished this card with a sentiment and some 2024–2026 In Color Shimmer Gems. We love how simple yet cute this card is—perfect for someone who doesn’t have a ton of time or may not have a lot of crafting experience.

For our Lass dich mal treiben card, we wanted to step things up a little bit. We added color to the card background using Summer Splash ink and a Blending Brush, and we adhered a few die-cut coral pieces and some fish.

To create our Make a Splash card, we went all out! We used the bubble die as a stencil to add Embossing Paste on our Basic White Cardstock panel. Then we colored the pieces of coral and fish with Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, Petal Pink, and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends. We love how these cards turned out, and how they allow for lots of unique creativity.

Now what other stamp set can you create and make a splash?

Remember

Remember last week I showed you a cow card with the Cutest Cows stamp set.  Today I have used the punch for the cow. Then I grabbed the Zinnias Designer Series Paper.  The paper I chose makes me think of the cow romping in the meadow.  Using the punch and placing the cow on dimensional adds so much more interest.  Noticed I placed cardstock at an angle. This is another way to make your card different.

The colors behind the cow are Granny Green for the grass and BoHo Blue for the sky. I have no idea why the sky looks, Bluish Green. I used to separate Blending Brushes.

Keeping Memories

As Mother’s Day approaches we want to share memories and treasure them forever.  So why not make some memory pages or use one as a framed piece with that special photo.

Special Note:  My new products are not in yet.  I had a very busy weekend and have not had time to create a project for Friday.  This means I have no chance to give my assistant anything.  So you are going to have to watch and see if one gets up.

Technique Focus

Mix & Match products make crafting easier—if you need to be able to put together a project in five minutes flat, Mix & Match products are for you!

The ephemera packs, for instance, are loaded with multi-occasion, pre-cut designs and sentiments, providing instant solutions for card fronts, tags, or fast memory book pages. We’re featuring the gorgeous Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack—which gives you tons of lovely floral designs to choose from. Simply begin by adhering a ring of larger florals with Stampin’ SEAL (gaps are fine) then fill in the empty spaces with more florals popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finish with a simple sentiment and photo and you’re done!

Have fun creating your memories!
