Textured Metallic

Start using Bubble Bath Cardstock and the new Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. Stamp the television set in Jet Black StāzOn ink on Textured Metallic Specialty Paper for a look that’s rich and deep. Then heat emboss the Silver Foil “screen” using silver Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder to create some fun texture. Finally, stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink on Berry Burst Cardstock, add white Basics Wow! Embossing Powder, and heat emboss.

For another card idea think about the Adventurous Sky stamp set.  This paper will make that plane stand out.  So let’s get creating.

All About the Paper

Yes, this post is all about the Designer Series Paper.  My order came in Friday and I discovered just how beautiful Designer Series Paper is.  Photos don’t do it justice.  The Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper is absolutely beautiful. I used two different pieces of Designer Series Paper in the package.  Then I used the Unbounded Love stamp set for the words and dies.  Notice how the one die fits to give you a background for the white paper.

Before we get into the details of today’s card, I want to remind you Stampin’ Up! is giving us FREE Shipping on Tuesday, May 21st.  It is all day event and ends at 11:59 PM (MT).  You don’t want to miss it. I will be placing another order. I don’t know how it happened, but I ordered the sample pack of cardstock but somehow dropped from the order.  So I will now order each package.  So make a list today and enter your order tomorrow.

  • Gorgeous Grape 5 1/4″ x 4″

Embellishments:

Tools:

Basic Tools:

  • Trimmer -152392
  • Cut And Embossing Machine – 149653
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue – 110755

Instructions:

  1. Fold Basic White CS to 4 1/4″.
  2. Adhere Gorgeous Grape to the front of the card.
  3. Run Basic White CS through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Texture Embossing Folder.
  4. Adhere to the center of the card.
  5. Stamp the Lavender in Gorgeous Grape on Basic White CS. (x3)
  6. Stamp the stems in Old Olive on Basic White CS.
  7. Run them through the Cut And Emboss Machine.
  8. Adhere the stems to the card first.
  9. Adhere the Lavenders to the top of the stems.
  10. Adhere twine to the lavender and stems. (see photo)
  11. Stamp the words, “With Sympathy” in Gorgeous Grape on the Basic White CS.
  12. Cut It into a rectangle around it.
  13. Adhere to the right of the stems on the card (see photo)

CS = Card Stock
