Still Adorable

Check out the other side.

I am in love with the barn door and still think it is adorable.  So I am glad it is not on the retirement list. However, I was sorry to see the Party Pandas have retired.  So they are still on my go list to keep using.  We will have to see what replaces them in my eyes in the new catalog.  Just remember you can hide just about anything behind the door.  Have you used the Sliding Door Framelit Dies?  It is very easy to use.

So let us party on with this card and celebrate someone’s birthday.  Luckily the balloon punch is sticking around.  I will never retire that punch.  I think punches make card making so easy.

Please remember that I have started the 365 Day Challenge that I have started. To participate you need to make a comment about that day’s post.  You will be entered into a drawing to receive that card in the post.  I will announce the winner the next day and you can email me your address. This is not the end of the Challenge. Each month all entries will be entered into a monthly drawing for an embellishment.  Note: If you make a comment you are entered into the drawing.  I announce that winner on the first of the month. So have fun!

Note: You can make comments at the phrase ” Please Leave a Comment” at the bottom of this post.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Bike Ride Time

I was thinking Spring when I created this card, but Mother Nature had other ideas.  We have 3 inches of snow on the ground here in Iowa.  This is not Spring.  It is January weather and the warmest we are going to get this week is 50 degrees.  However, it could be worst because OnStage could have been this weekend and Milwaukee had snow/ice.  Not what I would want to drive home in.  Last Sunday I had good weather until I hit Cedar Rapids.   So please send Spring thoughts.

I was thrilled that Bike Ride is not on the retirement list.  This stamp is so beautiful with all the choices for your basket.  I did flowers, but you could put the dog in your basket.  Also, there is more than one choice of flowers.  Notice that I put the bike on a textured path with Embossing Paste. Of course, this stamp set will work for any age or sex. So have fun creating your bike and think about a nice bike ride.

As Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, we were able to preorder and my preorder will be in Wednesday. I am looking forward to working with the new items.  This means I will have the exciting new colors and their new designs.  I hope you didn’t panic when you saw the retirement list with all the stamp sets.  This new ink pad is supposed to resist bubbles.  Have you thought about joining Stampin’ Up! and get the great discount on your orders?  Plus, get the catalogs ahead of time.  I offer 6 PDFs per month to my team members. These are not published anywhere and you can use them as you like.  Plus you have access to all my PDFs. Click here for more details http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/pinkrose/jointhefun
