It is time for another Technique Video which I call Technique Wednesday.  I hope you enjoyed the Blog Hop yesterday.  This is why you are getting this technique on Thursday.  I wanted you to have time to cruise the different post.  I thought the projects were awesome.  Today’s technique is using Baby Wipes and your reinkers.  You will learn how to use Baby Wipes and then you can make the card to go with this technique.  You will find the complete instructions in my newsletter.  So make sure you subscribe to it which can be done with the pop-up.

Paris in the Spring

Welcome to our Pals Blog Hop, May 2018. This month we’ll be “Stepping Up with Textures or Techniques.” What’s that? Projects that are “stepped up” by using textures or fun techniques. Who knows, maybe both! Join us in the fun while we inspire you to “step up” your creations.

You may be starting the hop here or you may be coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I want you to use your imagination and picture yourself in Paris sitting at a French cafe.  It is a beautiful spring day in Paris.  You have nowhere to go and can enjoy your wine or cappuccino as you watch the people. You can easily recreate this scene with the Mediterranean Moments stamp set.  It has the perfect sidewalk cafe on this stamp set.   Use your embossing paste to create a textured background that resembles a brick wall.

This card will surely take the receiver away to a peaceful moment in time which is perfect for their birthday.

Who Does So Much For You?

I hope you are paying attention to your calendar.  My question above asks “who does so much for you?” should give you clue.  Mother’s Day of course.  Whether mother was stirring up the special treats for your birthday or helping you with that special school project, it is time to celebrate her.  I chose the Apron of Love stamp set with cute words “Bake with Love.”  It was in the Occasion’s Catalog and now will be in the Annual Catalog.  This stamp set is great because you will use it for a variety of occasions depending on how you do the colors.  It easily becomes a barbeque using red and black.  So stir up some love.
