Weekly Project for March 22nd

 

My Weekly Project is back and I am thinking Spring which means gardening around the corner. However, it does not look like it. I got up this morning we had rain, sleet, and snow. All at the same time. What a surprise!

Stamp: 

  • Garden Meadow Bundle

Ink:

  • Memento Black

Blends:

  • Gray Granite
  • Black
  • Fresh Freesha
  • Parakeet Party
  • Polished Pink
  • Copper Clay

Paper:

  • Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ 2″ x 2″ 5 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

Designer Series Paper:

  • Meandering Meadows 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″

Embellishments:

  • Dimensionals

Tools:

  • Garden Meadows Dies (Bundle)

Basic Tools:

  • Trimmer -152392
  • Cut And Embossing Machine – 149653
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue – 110755

Instructions:

  1. Fold Basic White CS at 4 1/4″.
  2. Adhere DSP to the front of the card.
  3. Stamp the words “Thinking of You” on the top right side of the Basic White.
  4. Draw lines using the Copper Clay Blends.
  5. Adhere the Basic White C/S to the other folded Basic C/S with the DSP.
  6. Stamp the wheelbarrow with the flowers on Basic White CS.
  7. Color the handle and the wheel in Black Blends.
  8. Color the flowers in Fresh Fresha.
  9. Color the other flowers in Polished Pink.
  10. Color the leaves in Parakeet Party.
  11. Color the barrel in Gray Granite
  12. Run what you just colored through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Garden Meadows Dies.
  13. Adhere to the center of the card using the Dimensionals.

CS = Card Stock

DSP = Designer Series Paper

Simply Beautiful

The Stampin’ Up! Meandering Gardens Designer Series Paper is simply beautiful.  It looks like I could walk right in and sit enjoying the beauty.  I added two butterflies for added interest. This card is easy to recreate by simply cutting the Designer Series Paper into sections.

Notice that I didn’t use the greeting from the Garden Meadow stamp set because I need a graduation card. However, this card can be used for whatever you need. You may need to adjust the circle size. There are nice greetings in this stamp
