Punch Out Time

Welcome to the Pals August, 2018 Blog Hop. We love to cut it out so this month our creations feature our favorite “cuts” using punches, Framelits and Thinlits from the current Stampin’ Up! catalog.

You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Our theme for the August Blog Hop is cut or punch.  I chose to punch because we have the most awesome punch for this stamp set called Varied Vases.  It was part of a Millionaire Sellers Design.  This stamp set is going to be a great part of your Stampin’ Up! collection because it is so versatile.  You will be grabbing it for a wide variety of occasions.

I grabbed these colors because I have a friend who’s birthday is coming up and favorite colors are orange and yellow. Don’t you think it will make her smile?

Sending Bright Thoughts

I have a friend that is under the weather and like me she loves pink.  So I thought using the Touches of Texture flowers would brighten her day done in pink.  I used some older ribbon that I had lying around, but you can use whatever you prefer.  I think it works just fine with the Powder Pink and the Lovely Lipstick colors.  Have you noticed the Lovely Lipstick is very similar to Melon Mambo?  I think it is a little brighter color. Coloring the flowers with the Blends makes creating easy and more colors are to come on top of the ones in the new Annual Catalog. Hey!

I love using Touches of Texture because you can use it as a background stamp or as the focus for your card like I do.  You will find this stamp set a very versatile stamp set. It really is a must have in your Stampin’ Up! stamp collection.  It is so easy and secure to shop my Online Shop plus you will automatically get the Holiday Catalog from me.  The Holiday catalog will be available starting the first of September. Here is the link to shop till you drop.  https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/default.aspx

I posted a birthday card on my Facebook page using the same flowers with a different color.  So make sure you check out my Facebook page.  https://www.facebook.com/stampinpinkrose/
