I thought with the persistent weather, we all could use some warm thoughts of warm weather. So the stamp set that comes to mind is Beach Happy. I am not a person that loves to lounge on the beach like my son, but I do like the feel of warm sand on my toes. So pull up a beach chair and umbrella and dream of warmer days ahead. Just imagine the sun rays beaming down on you with a cool drink. You deserve it!

This card I created will work for thinking of you, newly retired, a promotion, new graduate, or just that person who is always doing something for someone. It doesn’t matter if it is for family or friends. They will smile upon opening this envelope. You will find it a simple card to make because all you are doing is stamping and coloring. Using Your Embossing Folder Above and Beyond

Meet the Horse

I have a friend that is big on horses. They own a ranch and it is always fun to join them for a ride. So when I saw the new stamp in the Occasions Catalog entitled Let It Ride, I knew I had to get it. It has been quite a while since we have had a horse stamp set. This is is one that you can color or just stamp as I did for this card. I love a stamp set that you can make as simple as you want. I pulled another stamp set which is part of the Sale-a-bration to use for a background stamp. That was Home to Roost which has a darling rooster. I think the grass is perfect for this card.
