Next week is the week of the Fourth of July.  I will be off all next week and want to give you a celebration card.  This is a Military card I use for their graduation.  It is a huge seller for me.  So I used an older stamp set that has these boots.  You can use the boots from Let’s Wander stamp set.  It is in the Annual Catalog on page 105.

Don’t forget starting July 3rd through July 31st you can earn $5 coupon to use in August.  For every $50 you spend you receive a $5 coupon.  So start making your list.  Remember no post or newsletter next week

Are You Missing a Technique (Weekly Newsletter)

We have one tool in our craft supplies that is often overlooked.  The Stampin’ Up! Marker. Have you used yours lately.

Are you always on the lookout for a fun, new technique? Try using Stampin’ Write markers to stamp!

For our Birthday Wishes card, we used the Bubble Bath, Crumb Cake, and Petunia Pop markers to add a bit of pizzazz to our leaf stamps from the Leaf Collection. The fun part of using markers on the stamps is getting to decide which part of the image you would like to use! For this sample, we only colored seven leaves to create open space on the card.

PRO TIP: Use the brush tip of the Stampin’ Write markers to color the stamps.

Then, just finish your card with some Linen Thread, some fun embellishments, and whatever sentiment you like.

Using Stampin’ Write markers as a way to color your stamps gives more flexibility to your creativity! Share the cards you make online or teach this technique in a class as a fun way to gain access to more colors for your stamps. You’ll love what you can create with it!  Have fun creating!

I had Farmer’s Market this weekend and butterfly cards were asked for.  So I pulled out one of my older butterfly stamp sets. Then I checked the Annual Catalog for a butterfly stamp set. I found Sketched Butterflies with dies on page 68.  It will work on this card.  So grab the Butterfly stamp set.

For colors, I used a color that I have not used in quite a while. … Shaded Spruce.  Then I added Pretty Peacock for a great color combination. Can you figure out the Designer Series Paper? Perennial Lavender.  The words came from Bottled Happiness, but you can use whatever words you want on the card.  This card will have birthday wishes inside.
