This week I have been focused on the Pop of Petals. It makes creating so easy on all levels. However, lining up the punch with your stamped flower may not be so simple. However, it is not so hard. There are just a couple of simple steps to make punching the flower easy. Watch the video and see what I mean and then don’t forget to order the May Online Classes. I have two levels waiting for you. I know you will love these cards.
Are you short on time? I think from time to time we all are short on time. This blog is all about saving time. We will start with a very easy and quick card. I didn’t say it was a Beginner card because you do need your Big Shot. Otherwise, it is quick. To me, the Big Shot is a time saver because I can do so much and it is easy to use which translate into quick.
Also, I have my May Online Class ready to go. There two levels and three ways to buy. You can buy the Beginner (Zippy), the Casual/Avid or you get both classes and save $5. If you order by May 7th you receive a bonus card. All the details are below day’s post.
When I see dandelions I think of them blowing in the wind. Even though we don’t like dandelions in our yard, I do think they can make a pretty card. I chose to make this a birthday card. In fact, I managed to get two cards in with this stamp set. Saturday was a crazy day here. I was trying to get some work time before I went to the ARL (Animal Rescue League) large fundraiser. They do an auction once a year to raise money. It is fun to watch the insane bidding. Mary Ann and I had a table with six of our other friends. This event is held at the Event Center with over 1,000 attendings.
Anyway, before I went I was creating some cards and it seems I was constantly making mistakes like putting a greeting upside down or grabbing the wrong color. Oh well, I got them done! In this case, it wasn’t the wrong color, but miss cut the paper. The Designer Series was cut smaller than I planned. I think it worked okay. What do you think?
Don’t forget to enter the Color Challenge. I do a drawing once a month for everyone that enters it. The details are below this post.
I want you to create a card or project using those colors. So the rules are as follows:
use all three colors
can be card or project
needs to be submitted by Friday at Noon (CST)
The United States only
No Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators
Then I will post any of challenge cards/projects on my blog Saturdays. Please send your project to my email pamela@stampinpinkrose.com Each month I will draw a name for a prize. The drawing will be on the first of the month (if a weekend then on Monday. It will be a lot of fun for everyone to share ideas.
Tuesday is our weekly newsletter with the Online Class Reveal. Along with an announcement about Facebook Live.
