I mention yesterday in the video about the propeller on the bi plane from Soaring to New Heights. Unfortunately it got cut off. So I am giving you a close up. But before I do this, I want to give you the background on the idea. I was sitting in the airport last Sunday watching the planes come and go. For some reason my eyes focused on the propellers and them turning. I realized that was what was missing on our propeller of the bi plane. Hence, I came up with the idea to use the Vellum, 1/2″ circle punch and a brad. Take a look at what I mean.
If you haven’t figure it out, this is one of my favorite stamps from Sale-a-bration brochure which you get to choose as a product when you spend $50 out of the Occasion’s catalog. However, this stamp goes away February 16th and new stamps will be introduced. So if you want to order it, you need to order it right away. Just use the hostess code. Here is the full picture using the Going Places paper in the Occasion”s catalog.
I think the reason I like this card is because it makes a great masculine card and is super easy to create a card using the Stampin’ Up! Going Places paper. In last than 10 minutes you have a Birthday card. However, this could be a get well, retirement, or a Father’s Day card.
Stampin’ Up has so many beautiful designer series paper and we hate to waste any of it. If you use the Sunburst Thinlits, you waste some of the paper. However, you won’t if you watch this video on how to get two cards from the same piece of paper. A bonus is included with this video. You will get more information on my next post about the bonus.
If you want like $155 in products for $99 and be part of a community of stampers, please contact at [email protected] It is a great way to enjoy your hobby.
I am working on several ideas as we move away from Valentine cards, but I do have one more idea—treat bags. However, I do want to remind you the Bloomin Love and the coordinating framelit is going to be great for wedding and anniversary cards. Tomorrow I will have a WOW Wednesday video that will give you a technique.
As I work on new ideas, I thought some of you might want to make some treat bags for Valentines. So I thought I would give you a refresher on making Stampin’ Up! Treat Bags. Stampin’ Up! have such great videos!
