Yesterday I did a post telling how easy it is to create with using the Designer Series Paper.  Today we continue this theme with different Designer Series Paper. I am loving the ornate paper in the Christmas Gleaming Suite.  It is so rich that it can stand on its own.  I am referring to the Stampin’ Up! Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. Yesterday I used the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and today I am using it again.  I said it is a staple in my Stampin’ Up! supplies.

When you use Designer Series Paper creating can be Clean and Simple even when you need a simple die like Stitched Shapes.

Let the Paper Do the Work!

Have you thought about how easy Stampin’ Up! has made it for us to create beautiful cards and projects?  You can start completely from scratch with a stamp set or use the beautiful Designer Series Paper.  For example, look at the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Sets’ Designer Series Paper called Toile Tidings.  It is simply gorgeous needs nothing more.  So let the paper do the work.

I used the Ornate Frames Dies from the Halloween section of the Holiday Catalog for a Christmas card.  I love these frames and they will be part of my arsenal.   I added some retired ribbon because I ran out of the new Garden Green 3/8″ Double Stitched Ribbon. Time to order some more!

What is Traditional at Christmas?

I was sitting down and thinking about what is traditional for Christmas.  The Christmas tree of course, but the wreath is traditional. It is very typical of what many have on their doors. That is probably why at the craft shows there are so many booths with wreaths.  How you decorate them depends on your personal taste.  Today’s card is just your typical wreath.  I am thrilled Stampin’ Up! has included a wreath in the Holiday Catalog.  The stamp set is called “Tidings All Around” and is available as a bundle. You will need the bundle to cut out this beautiful wreath.
