Bright Fresh Perspective for Your Designs

DSC_0664 Grateful Bunch Vellum 1Let’s take a different perspective on Grateful Bunch,  but this idea can be used on other stamps.  Today I have been playing with Vellum from Stampin’ Up!   Today’s card is a matter of layering a piece of Vellum over your designs.  Quick, simple touch! I absolutely love stamping flowers all over a card.  You can this card as a birthday or friendship card.

Tomorrow on the newsletter I will change up the card which will extend your use of Stampin’ Up! Grateful Bunch.  So make sure you sign up for my newsletter and get your FREE PDF.  Then on Wednesday for our WOW Wednesday we will take a look closer at using Vellum.  So you don’t want to miss it!

Imagine Breathing In Colorful Wildflowers Blowing In the Breeze

As our warmer days appear, I imagine wildflowers blowing in the breeze which gives us a breathe of fresh smells.  So I created this card to think of the days ahead when we can smell the flowers.  The Stampin’ Up! set in the main catalog has Wild About Flowers and Birthday Blossoms for the birthday banner.  Sheltering Tree was used create the grass effect.

So can you imagine looking at a beautiful field of wild flowers?

Learn How to Make Your Cards Have Timeless Elegance

This card that I created was a fun card to make.  So I am excited to bring you this card today because it took some playing with it.  Timeless Texture is on a similar concept as Gorgeous Gorge.  You know the one everyone loves.  Well, this stamp is a different version of it.

DSC_0657 Timeless Texture with Butterflies

Let me explain how this card was stamped.  The strip is stamped with Old Olive and you are using the bumpy stamp in the set.  So stamp it first then use Perfect Plum with the same stamp.  Yes, I am using Blackberry Bliss paper and for the Happy Birthday.  However, that color is too much on the strip. When you stamp do different angles. So stamp the strip with it. Then use the swirl in black on it.   For butterflies use Papillon Potpourri with Blackberry Bliss ink. The larger butterfly is colored with the Blender Pen and has Daffodil Delight around the edge and Blackberry Bliss on the remainder.  Don’t forget to pop them up on dimensionals.  The happy Birthday came from the marvelous Rose Wonder.  I think this card is a show stopper. What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts.  Please comment below.
