Measurement:

Base: Solid color cardstock 4 1/4″ x 7 1/2″

Score it at 1/2″, 5″

Designer Series Paper is 2″ x 4 1/4″ and a second piece (I used the Brush Copper) 2″ x 4 1/4″. Watch the video on how to cut it again.

123 and You Have It Done

Do you like cards that are as simple as 123? If you use the Stampin’ Up! Gift Wrapped stamp set, you will be making cards quickly. You can use it for any occasion or for a man or woman. All you need to do is change the color and the greeting. I am thinking about using the Buffalo Check stamp set to make it look like wrapping paper for another card. However, there is a secret to making your cards stand out.

Embossing Folder: Don’t just add strips of cardstock. Step it up by making it look like ribbon. You can do this by embossing. After all, the ribbon does have texture. I used the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder. Giving texture to your card adds another dimension. I didn’t stop there. I even embossed the green paper with Subtle Embossing Folder. It doesn’t dominant because of the light embossing that folder does. Consider adding embossing folders to your stamping tools. Stampin’ Up! has so many to choose from.
