BLENDING BRUSHES

Today is Technique Wednesday and we are creating the perfect look with the new Stampin’ Up! Blend Brushes.  They come in a package of three and they are wonderful. So easy to use and the best part is the control. No longer ink on your fingers and transferring to your project.  You can use them in so many ways. Let me show you some of the ways to use these brushes.

A Wrap Is Coming

Do you realize we have two more weeks of Sale-a-bration and then it is a wrap? So sad, but no fear we will have another Sale-a-bration in July and August.   I have one small change for the week and that is Facebook Live will be next week.  It will be Thursday at 2 o’clock (CT).  I am doing this because next week I will be reviewing Sale-a-bration.  So Thursday we will take a look back.  I am planning at some point in March to bring One Sheet Wonder back.  This was what I originally was going to do on Facebook.  We will gather together for another Facebook Live on Sunday, February 28th at 2 o’clock (CT).  This Facebook Live will focus on Paper Pumpkin. So have your Paper Pumpkin ready to go.

Now for this week’s theme which is the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.  You will be hearing more about Dragonfly Garden in March.  I will periodically be posting on Pinterest some more Dragonfly Garden this week. So make sure to check it out.  After all, we love to get more mileage out of our stamp sets.

You will notice the coloring on this Dragonfly Garden.  It uses the Blend Brushes. We will focus on this with the Technique Video on Wednesday. So watch for this.

Mock Gatefold Card

Who likes a simple card that you can use for any occasion, Designer Series Paper, and stamp set? This card fold doesn’t require the Cut and Emboss Machine. It is an option. I used the Hey Chick stamp set but did use another stamp set too. Watch the video and see what I used.

 

 

Measurements:

Card Base 4″ x 11″   Score at 3″ and 8 1/2″.  This is the base.

Squares  Cardstock 3″ x 3″ and Basic White Cardstock  2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″

Stamp the white cardstock with the stamp set of your choice.

This is a full Class Kit.  It will include all the supplies you need to make it except the stamp set and ink pads/Blends. The supplies included are 4 cards for each of the 4 designs with all cutouts, punches, and embossing is done for you.  You will receive enough supplies to make 8 cards.
