I think we all love our UPS driver when he delivers our Stampin’ Up! products.  See what he brought me a stamp set that I have been wanting.  I didn’t order on my first order and have been kicking myself ever since.  It is of course the Zany Zebras. They are adorable. Best of all it so easy to make a quick card.

Card #2

I simply stamped the zebras all over the Whisper White cardstock. Note there are two different zebra images I used.  One was used only once.  Now if you want you could fussy cut him out and put on dimensionals.  I chose not.

The next step is to color the zebra that was stamped only once. Then with my Black Marker, I colored his hoofs and went over the stripes to make them stand out.  I add some stars in Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay.  In the second which was colored with the new In Color Just Jade, I stamped stars in Bumble Bee. In both cases, the cardstock behind the Whisper White ties to the colors used on the Whisper White cardstock.

I don’t know which one I prefer. What do you think?  Please comment below this post. I know that the colors look close. The Bermuda Bay appears a little lighter in color as opposed to the Just Jade.

Time to Dream

Stampin’ Up! Color Inspiration                                                    www.stampinpinkrose.com

 

With the COVID 19 going on many are not taking vacations. If they do it is mainly close to home.  So I thought a little daydream might be an idea.  If you know me, then you know the mountains are my favorite place. The scenery is breathtaking and I love hiking. It is so peaceful too.

So I decided to grab Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Stamp Set. Then I did some playing with colors.  I am sure you all recognize Balmy Blue, but can you tell what the other color is?  No get is not Black in the mountains. I used the new 2020-2022 In Color Misty Moonlight.

Yes, I did use Black behind the circle, on the strip, and behind the Misty Moonlight, but didn’t like it. I think a contrast was needed in the mountain scene. I would love to hear what you think. Comment below this post.

I simply stamped from A Good Man stamp set the greeting “For You.”  It is meant to be a birthday card.  I am stamping inside “Birthday Wishes.” So many times we put that on the outside and I wanted to change it up.
