We all have to say goodbye to some of our favorite stamp sets and dies.  One of the neat dies is the Countryside Corners dies.   These dies are so versatile for our projects.  I used the Designer Series Paper that goes with the Countryside Corners Suite.

Spotlight on a Stamp

Color Combination:

  • Boho Blue
  • Basic White

  • Night of Navy

Paper: Remember I always use Basic White as my base.

  • Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, 4″ x 5 1/4″, 2″ x 2″
  • Boho Blue 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″

Designer Series Paper:

  • Countryside Inn 3 3/4″ x 5″

Tools:

  • Cut and Emboss Machine
  • Countryside Corners Dies

Accessories:

  • Trimmer
  • Multipurpose Glue

Stamp:

Ink:

  • Memento Black
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Real Red

Paper:

  • Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ 2″ x 2″ 5 ” x 3 3/4″
  • Real Red 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Daffodil Delight 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″

Embellishments:

  • Baker’s Twine #162759

Tools:

  • Scalloped Contour Dies

Basic Tools:

  • Trimmer -152392
  • Cut And Embossing Machine – 149653
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue – 110755

Instructions:

  1. Fold Basic White CS to 4 1/4″.
  2. Adhere Daffodil Delight to the front of the card.
  3. Run Real Red through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Scalloped Contour Dies.
  4. Adhere to the center of the card.
  5. Run Basic White CS through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Scalloped Contour Dies.
  6. Stamp the words “Celebrating Someone Special” in Memento Black on the Basic White that you just ran through.
  7. Adhere to the center of the card.
  8. Stamp the 2 balloons in Daffodil Delight and the heart balloon in Real Red.
  9. Run them through the Cut And Emboss Machine.
  10. Take the Twine and adhere to the back of the balloons that you just cut out.
  11. Adhere the balloons to the center of the card with the heart balloon in the middle. (see photo)

and smiles will come.  The old Annual Catalog is rapidly leaving us and the new one is approaching us.  So let us take another look at the current catalog.  I found a stamp set that was one of my favorites that I have not used in a while.  It is Bottled Happiness stamp set. This one has a punch for the bottle.   Think of all the occasions you can use this stamp set for in your creations. Then think of the colors for the flowers and leaves.  May I suggest a Parakeet Party color for the leaves?

This card can be a Clean and Simple card if you don’t use the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
