Don’t you love when you get a bonus card idea that is super simple that you are wondering why didn’t I think of it. Well, this is what I came up with for my Sunday Challenge card. The theme was stripes or butterflies and to me beside flowers, what is more Spring than butterflies. Stampin’ Up! offers butterflies in stamps, framelits, and thinlits. What a choice!
Now are you wondering how I got these beautiful colors on my butterfly. No it is not paper. One word Sponge Daubers. Okay two words. I used the Pastel Colors to get the multi color effect. Just stamp your paper with the colors you want and then cut the Butterfly out with the framelit. Don’t forget to use the Precision Blade with the brush. It makes life so much easier with the intricate pieces.
