My question today is “Do You Want to Stretch Your Dollar?” I think every card maker or scrap booker wants to stretch their dollar. I have made three different cards with the Stampin’ Up! Woodland Textured Embossing Folder and have barely scratched the surface with this folder. Best of all they are fairly quick and easy.
The first card used the Acorny Thank You stamp and the 2″ punch. The colors for the acorn were Early Espresso on the bottom with Chocolate Chip on top. The embossing folder cardstock was Crumb Cake.
The Halloween card used Among the Branches stamp with Happy Hauntings Designer paper across the bottom (1″ x 4″). The greeting is done in Pumpkin Pie ink and punched with the 2″ circle punch. The black scallop is 2 3/8″. If you wondering how to get the birds on the branch. Stay tune for the video on Monday to see the Misti I made. The folder was embossed with the Smoky Slate cardstock.
The third card was layer with Island Indigo cardstock on the bottom, followed with Brushed Silver, and Whisper White cardstock. Run the white through the Big Shot with the Woodlands Embossing Folder. Use the Wonderland stamp set for the snowflakes in Island Indigo and Soft Sky ink. The strip with the words on it is the Soft Sky paper with Island Indigo ink (1″ x 3 3/4″). The words came from Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set. The peace is done in silver glimmer paper.
