I am bringing more of the Midwest to you. Having spent a good part of my life on a farm, I have fond memories of the barn and the hay loft. I can almost smell the distinctive smell of the barn. With a family of farmers who raised livestock, the barn was an intricate part of a farm. One had hogs strictly and my grandfather had hogs and cattle. It was a shelter for livestock and storage.
So I incorporated two different stamp sets. The Aspen Dies from the Bird in a Tree and the Christmas Barn stamp set and dies. I found some Designer Series from Ringed we had earlier with Sale-a-bration. It has a snowy look which is the effect I wanted. I wanted this as a birthday card, but it can easily become a Christmas card. Just add the wreath to the barn.
A couple of thoughts on coloring the barn. I prefer using my Read Marker which died in the progress. So I missed one of the doors. Don’t worry about perfect coloring as most barns are not freshly painted. They are worn and fainted.

Your card is beautiful. I like the faded look on the barn, looks realistic. I don’t think I would have thought to put those stamp sets together. I love 💕 it.
