Do the Framing

Are you framing your work of art?   Stampin’ Up! has so many great stamp sets to frame your work.  For scenes Rustic Retreat, Waterfront, and Snowl Front. Hint there is more coming.  This doesn’t include the tools to frame them. Use the obvious Heirloom Frames, but there are others like Layering Circles, Layering Ovals, Stitched Rectangles, and Layering Squares.

I know you are wondering where I am going with this.  Today instead of a video with a card fold, I am going to show you three cards.  I used the Layering Circles on one and the Layering Ovals on the other one. Plus step it up with the Stitched Rectangles.  I am doing this because so often we focus on the stamp set and not the way to present it.

The first two are very simple to do as you are just cutting the shape out in the middle of the card and then mounting your image on the backside so the image is showing in the cut.  See Photo #1 and #2.  For the third one, you are using two of the Stitched Rectangles to cut out a frame. Always go down two from the largest size you are using to give a border.

Now that you have been reminded how to step up your projects it is time to step it up.  If you don’t have one of these items, place your order today and think of someone who could use one of these items.  I did.  They are a perfect Christmas gift. Order Now
