I am still trying to restock my cards and one that I am short on is Sympathy cards. Unfortunately, it is a card we all need from time to time.  In my newsletter today I discussed tools and one of my vital tools is my Blends.  I used it with a stamp set that I showcased last week that I dearly love. It makes card making for any occasion super easy.  Notice I said any occasion because that stamp will work for any occasion.  So take another look at Petal Palette.  Then place an order today and include it as a bundle to get the most for your money. https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=145974

I chose to color it with Pink Pirouette in the light and dark color Blends. Then I used the Old Olive Blends for the leaves, but I didn’t stop there. I used the Light Crumb Cake to add a little more shadowing.  The shading is the key to make your Blends work for you.  Stampin’ Up! has this video that shows easy it is to use Blends. Take a look at the video.

So now think how you can make this card with some of your favorite colors. Maybe you want to do Rich Razzleberry or Calypso Coral.  Have some fun!
