The new Mini Catalog is here and so are lots of new ideas.  Today is Blog Hop Day which means lots of ideas using the products in the Mini Catalog.  I pulled out one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog….. Art Gallery.  There are lots of words for a variety of occasions. Then I turned to the new Embossing Folder….. Painted Texture and new foil sheets. You will find beautiful foil sheets in the Love You Always Suite that are perfect to give focus to your image.  So I used it for the background. Then skip over to the Fine Art Floral Suite where you will find the Art Gallery stamp set with dies and the Designer Specialty Paper.  I just love Golden Garden acetate sheets with such pretty designs.

Brighten The Day

We are finally getting sunshine here in Iowa.  It has been a week of cloudy and gray skies. So I thought we all could use a cheery card to brighten someone’s day.  What better than strawberries.  It makes me think of Spring.  So when I saw this stamp set in the Mini Catalog, I knew it was on my must-have list.

I have two berry cards for you today.  Each one is what I consider a concept card.  This means it will work for a variety of occasions.  The first is “Just for you”  which could be thinking of you, birthday, or a get well card.  Of course, you can use an entirely different greeting. The second I made it a “Thanks” card using the Country Home stamp set.

Notice the ribbon on both of these cards.  We don’t currently have a Poppy Parade ribbon. So I used some Seam Binding Ribbon and colored it with the Poppy Parade Blends.  Card one used the new Berry Delightful DSP in the Sale-a-bration brochure.  It is FREE with a $100 purchase. You also receive the Berry Blessings stamp set. The second card uses the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.

Bunch of Daisies for You

Today I am returning to the Annual Catalog as I am still working on new samples for the Mini Catalog.  Next week I will be showcasing samples of the Mini Catalog 2021.  I know everyone is eager to get ideas and next week is definitely the week.  On Wednesday will ve the January Blog Hop with lots of ideas.  The theme for the Blog Hop is the new catalog.  I hope you joined me for Facebook Live on Thursday. I know you will like this card as it will brighten someone’s day.  I used the Jar of Flowers stamp set.  However, the flowers are Medium Daisy punch and the greenery was  Forever Flourishing Dies. The Designer Series Paper is all one piece. Don’t you love those colors?  It really is a very simple card.  This card is part of the Global Design Project. It is a challenge to create a card with a theme. The theme is using a word as a center case which I did with HI.  I hope you will check out the ideas at Global Design Project.
