Card Folding 101 – Fancy Fold

DSC_0679 Fancy Fold Part I

Tried the plain old style of cards you make.  Fear not Super Card Maker is here to save the day with a Fancy Fold Card.  Every Friday I am going to have a video with a card showing a different card fold.  So lets get out of the rut and change things up.

This card uses the Stampin’ Up! Balloon Occasions stamp set and  It’s My Party Series Paper Stack.  You have to check out this paper because it is so versitile and not just for birthdays.  Yes, it has birthday paper, but it also has strips and dots.  Think about Get Well and Thinking About You cards.

So here is the video that will guide you thorough the process.  For the flap you will need a 5″ x 5 1/2″ piece of cardstock folded at 1/2″ and marked at the 2 3/4″ around 3 sides.  So watch the video and see how simple it is to make a Fancy Fold card.

Here is another view of the card.

I am giving you a supply list for this style card plus the supplies I used to make this particular card.  For all Fancy Fold cards you will need your trimmer with scoring and Square Framelit.

  3. Your card is a great idea, but I couldn’t understand how to make it because it the camera was zoomed in so close. I subscribed anyway, because it looks like you have some great ideas. Thanks.

  4. You need to move your camera out further on your video so we can see what you are doing. In much too close . . .
